But one has to keep themselves up-to- date and follow the latest trend of wearing a headband. Headbands are made for all types of hair for short hair, long hair, and straight hair and how can we forget curly hair.
There are several types of headbands that you can wear differently on different occasions like:
· Plastic headband: These are the most common and mostly popular among the teenage and school going girls. But this doesn’t mean that they are not for grownups, a lot of celebrities are seen wearing headbands as they are very comfortable and gives a nice shape to our hair. You will find different types of shapes and sizes available in plastic headbands and they are not very expensive so one can stock up in their closet to look different whenever they go out.
· Crochet headbands: Crochet headbands are fancy headbands increasingly liked by all teenage girls because of its bright and flowery appearance. Unlike lace headbands, crochet headbands are very comfortable and holds our hair properly. These headbands can also be used as a bracelet or a tight neck chain.
· Fabric headbands: These are mostly used by school girls to avoid their hair coming on their face, this covers the hair completely and gives a U cut or a V cut to our hair. It is best suitable for those who have long and very thick hair. They are available with embellishments on it as well as cloured prints on it.
· Toothed: Toothed headbands consist of either metallic or plastic tooth on one side to hold the hair tightly. Teethed headbands give volume to ones hair. They not only secure the hair tightly but also give a very stylish look. For an evening dinner or a wedding party one can just slide in their toothed- beads studded headband with their fancy floral or satin dress and is all set to go for the occasion.
· Homemade headbands: You can make your headbands with flowers, ribbons, twigs and beads. They are a little week for thick hair but those who have short and silky straight hair can defiantly try making a headband at home.
· Bridal headbands: Bridal headbands are very fancy and stylish; they are usually studded with stones and beads. Just separate your bangs from the rest of your hair and put the band a bit further back, then you can either tie a bun or leave it loose, both ways it is going to go with your gown.
